Australian National Capital Artists Inc. (ANCA) provides affordable and professional studio and exhibition space to artists at all stages in their career working in any medium. We have 35 purpose-built non-residential studios on two sites (1) 1 Rosevear Pl, Dickson and (2) 96 Hoskins St, Mitchell.

ANCA studio tenants have 24 hour access to their studio and respective studio campus, which includes a kitchen, toilets, shower, and garden area/courtyard. All studios are equipped with sinks. All Mitchell studios and some Dickson studios have 3 phase power. Please enquire if you have specific power requirements.

Applications are welcome at any time. If you would like to apply for a studio at ANCA click the link below and submit an application form. ANCA will then contact you to arrange an interview with our New Tenants Committee. If your application/interview is successful you will be placed on a waiting list and contacted when a studio becomes available.

Studio applications can be submitted as a sole or joint application or to express interest in sharing a studio with an existing tenant if/when one is available.

There is space on the online form (below) to nominate whether applicants would like to share a studio. If you are applying with other new applicants with the intention of sharing a studio, each person must submit an application and name the other people they want to share with.

Studio sizes and rental prices per month for each studio location:

• Dickson studios: 32m2, $392; 46m2, $550; 48m2, $572.

• Mitchell studios: 60m2, $708; 80m2, $933; 100m2, $1165.

ANCA Studio leases are for 3 years with an additional 3 years upon application. If you do not wish to stay for the full lease you can cancel your lease with one months’ notice.
